Can I ask you a simple question?

What would you prefer to have in life: Security or Freedom?

C’mon…answer me…Honestly, what would you prefer?

If you are like most people your answer to that question would more than likely be “Freedom”. While most people would say they would prefer freedom, their actions say the total opposite.

When you ask most people what they want in life the more common answers tend to be something like “I want a secure career”, or “I want a secure income” or “I want my marriage to be secure” or “I want a secure future for my children and family”. “I want financial security”.

While those are all somewhat noble and worthwhile goals they can also be misleading. This is because many times security and freedom are at total opposite sides of the spectrum.

Freedom and security are two totally different things.

What do you really want in life?

Most people don’t discover what they want in life until it’s time to die – and that’s a shame.

Most people spend the best years of their lives watching television or doing things they dislike. An author described humanity by saying, “Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.” Are you one of the living zombies?

Some people struggle in answering such question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, many are unsure. They dillydally in their decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want in life. People without definite goals are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people?

If you are undecided about what you want out of life, do not worry. There are many ways of discovering your purpose in life.

Many people now-a-days find it difficult to finish projects. Because they cannot bring closure to their tasks they are not positioning themselves to experience significant levels of increasing success in their lives.

There are hundreds if not thousands of things that could actually be contributing to this phenomenon, but the biggest arguably is the vast amount of information that is made available to us on a daily basis.

Having instant access to an unlimited amount of information can be a great asset, but it can also prove to be the “Achilles heel” to your search for success.

At any given time, I have several hundred emails sitting in my inbox clamoring for my attention. If that wasn’t enough my phone most of the time seems to be ringing off the hook! If I go online to do research for a particular interest, I am confronted with hundreds of thousands of possible “answers” to my research question.

So while I might be able to find absolutely anything I want using the internet, I might not have or be able to afford to invest the time that it would take to obtain all of the necessary information that I seek from the net.

We can all agree that Information is virtually unlimited for anyone of us. What is not unlimited is our time. This is why mastering focus in our lives is so important. That is why today I want to share with you three methods of making sure you keep your focus and stay on track.

Knowledge fueled by emotion equals action. Action is the ingredient that ensures results. Only action can cause reaction. Further, only positive action can cause positive reaction. Action. The whole world loves to watch those who make things happen, and it rewards them for causing waves of productive enterprise.

I stress this because today I see many people who are really sold on affirmations. And yet there is a famous saying that “Faith without action serves no useful purpose.” How true!

I have nothing against affirmations as a tool to create action. Repeated to reinforce a disciplined plan, affirmations can help create wonderful results.

But there is also a very thin line between faith and folly. You see - affirmations without action can be the beginnings of self-delusion. And for your well being, there is little worse than self-delusion.

Napoleon Hill said, “There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it.” No one is ready for a thing until they believe they can acquire it.

Before anything can come to us, we have to envision it and believe that it is ours.

Many individuals have written out their visions, just as you did, and never achieved anything. Why did others succeed when they did not? What makes the difference? Why are some people
incredibly successful, while others continue to struggle and never really
succeed?

It’s not that God is playing favorites, reaching down and touching a select few. Often, the people who succeed are those with the strongest faith.

Unbending belief and unshakable faith are the essential elements in bringing your vision into physical reality. All great achievers have an absolute belief that their visions
will manifest. They know without any doubt that their dreams will come to them.

These people don’t waste time having faith one minute, and then allowing themselves to sink back into fear or doubt the next. That would only attract confusion and anxiety.

Great achievers focus only on their visions and fire those visions with faith…
regardless of their current circumstances. They know that it’s only a matter of
time before their visions manifest in physical form.

Commit to being one of the few who achieve versus the many who talk. Strengthen your faith and self-belief. Regardless of current circumstances, you must KNOW that you will
succeed. Your belief will create the fact!
